Charity collections
To collect cash or sell items for charity in the street you need a street collection permit.
To collect cash or goods house-to-house you need a house-to-house collection licence.
You should apply at least 28 days before the collection.
There are restrictions on the number of street collections that can take place in the same location on the same day, so to check whether a date is available for a particular location, please email us before you apply.
Please note that any collectors must be aged 16 or over, in accordance with regulations.

Please take care to complete the application form in full. Any incomplete or illegible applications will be rejected.
We will issue the licence/permit by email so please ensure you provide an email address on your application.
Once you have completed your collection you must send us a completed return. Please note that for house to house collections, the return you need to complete depends on the type of collection; for collections of cash use pages 1-2, for collections of goods see page 3 onwards:
