Local Plan 2031 Part 2 – Examination

We submitted our Local Plan 2031 Part 2: Detailed Policies and Additional Sites to the Secretary of State in February 2018 for independent examination, with the following documents:

The Inspector

The Planning Inspector David Reed BSc DipTP DMS MRTPI was appointed to undertake examination into the “soundness” of our plan, using criteria set out in paragraph 182 of the National Planning Policy Framework.

The Inspector also took into account the representations submitted upon the Local Plan, in as far as they related to soundness considerations; and undertook a number of Hearing Sessions (informal debates) on principal matters he identified.
